About KlasPoint

Built for the businesses behind the classroom.

Tutorial centres teach a large share of Nigeria's exam candidates and university students. Most are small businesses run by people who would rather be teaching. KlasPoint exists to run the business side for them.

What is KlasPoint?

KlasPoint is a tutorial centre management platform built for Nigerian tutorial centres. It gives each centre its own branded website, student portal and WhatsApp assistant, and brings payments, attendance, classes, learning materials and CBT mock exams into one place.

Our positioning is our promise: You teach. We run the business.

The problem

Running a tutorial centre is two jobs

There is the teaching, which is why centres exist. And there is the operation around it, which quietly consumes the time and energy teaching needs.

  • Fragmented payment tracking

Fees arrive as bank transfers with no name attached, and matching them to students is a job in itself.

  • Attendance on paper

Registers take class time, get lost, and rarely show a pattern until a student has already left.

  • Manual administration

Enrolment, reminders and lists of who owes live in notebooks, spreadsheets and memory.

  • Scattered student communication

Announcements, timetables and questions all compete in the same WhatsApp groups.

  • Disconnected learning materials

Notes and past questions are spread across chats, drives and photos of the whiteboard.

  • Exam administration

Setting, printing, supervising and marking mock exams takes hours for every class.

  • Managing multiple cohorts

Every new class multiplies the groups, lists and registers someone has to keep in sync.

  • A thin digital presence

Many good centres are hard to find or verify online, which costs them enrolments.

Mission

Take the business work of running a tutorial centre off the people who teach.

Vision

Every tutorial centre running as professionally online as it teaches in the classroom.

What we believe

Principles behind the product

  • Teachers should spend their time teaching. Software should absorb the admin, not add to it.
  • A centre's brand belongs to the centre. Students should see their tutors' name, not ours.
  • Pricing should rise with a centre's success, so a new centre pays nothing until students pay it.
  • Credibility is earned. We would rather say less than claim something we cannot show.

Why tutorial centres

Built for how they actually work

Tutorial centres are not schools and not universities. Most classes happen in person, students pay for a class group rather than a single course, money is collected in smaller, more frequent payments, and everything intensifies around exam season. General-purpose school or learning software rarely fits that shape, so KlasPoint was designed around it from the start.

Why Nigeria

Designed for the way Nigerian centres and students operate

KlasPoint starts in Nigeria, and the product reflects that in practical ways rather than in a flag on the homepage.

  • Priced and paid in naira

Plans, payments and payouts are in naira, through Flutterwave, a payment provider Nigerian students already use.

  • WhatsApp first

Students already live on WhatsApp, so the assistant meets them there instead of asking them to install another app.

  • Local languages

The assistant can reply in English, Nigerian Pidgin, Yoruba, Hausa or Igbo.

  • CBT exam practice

Timed computer-based mocks match the format of the exams many students are preparing for.

  • Built for physical classes

Attendance works in a real classroom with a code read out loud, not only for online lessons.

  • Light on data

The portal works in a phone browser and the previews on this site are built from code, not heavy images.
