Tutorial centres and the people who run and teach in them, starting in Nigeria. University lecturers can also use KlasPoint for free through KlasPoint for Lecturers.

It replaces the patchwork most centres run on — bank alerts matched by hand, paper registers, notes in group chats and printed mock exams — with one connected system where payment unlocks access, attendance is recorded automatically and students find everything in one portal.

No. KlasPoint is built for tutorial centres: classes students pay to attend, exam preparation and the admin around them. It is not designed as a records system for primary or secondary schools.

Yes. Attendance is designed for physical classrooms: you open check-in and read out a code, and students check in from their phones.

No. You set up your centre, website, classes and payment plans through forms in the dashboard, with no code involved.

Your website and student portal carry your centre's name, logo and colours. KlasPoint appears once, as a small credit in the website footer.

Yes. Invite teachers and admins. Teachers get teaching tools without access to fees, and admins can run the centre but cannot change your payout account or KlasPoint plan.

There is no setup fee and no monthly subscription. KlasPoint charges a platform fee on each successful student payment: 5% on the Starter plan and 8% on the Pro plan.

Students pay online through Flutterwave. Your share of each successful payment is split out and settled to the bank account you verified during setup.

You decide. The fee can come out of your listed price, or be added on top at checkout so you receive your full price.

Their paid content locks automatically and the portal shows them how to renew. Their account and progress are kept.

They open the centre's KlasPoint link, create an account, choose a class and pay. Their classes open as soon as payment is confirmed.

No. The student portal works in any modern phone or computer browser.

Yes. One KlasPoint account works across centres, and each centre's portal shows that centre's classes.

A cohort, or class group, is a set of students who enrol and pay together. It can contain several classes, such as Physics, Chemistry and Biology inside a science cohort.

Yes, on the Pro plan. Create an event for a class group and students register for it from their portal.

Yes, on the Pro plan. Mock exams are timed, open and close when you choose, can shuffle questions or draw a random set for each student, and mark objective questions automatically.

Yes. Generate multiple choice, true or false, fill-in-the-gap or theory questions on a topic straight into a draft mock exam, and remove any you do not want before publishing.

Yes. Once a student links their WhatsApp number, the assistant answers questions about their fees, schedule and attendance, lets them check in, sends payment links and helps with study questions from your uploaded notes, in English, Pidgin, Yoruba, Hausa or Igbo.

Inside your dashboard, it summarises your centre, lists who owes fees, shows upcoming sessions and recent payments, flags possible account sharing and can post announcements for you.

Every table in KlasPoint's database is protected by row-level security, which checks on each request that the signed-in user belongs to the centre whose data they are reading or changing.

Payments are entered on Flutterwave's checkout rather than on KlasPoint. KlasPoint only records a payment after checking the notification's signature, verifying the transaction independently with Flutterwave and confirming the amount.

Yes. The device lock restricts each student account to one device at a time and flags accounts that keep switching.

Create an account, name your tutorial centre, add your brand, set up payouts, then create your classes and payment plans. Share your KlasPoint link and students can join.

No. There is no setup fee and no monthly subscription.

Yes. The owner can switch between Starter and Pro in Settings, and the change takes effect immediately.

Yes. KlasPoint for Lecturers is free and ad-supported. It requires an institutional email address, and new accounts are reviewed before their website goes public.
