Is KlasPoint really free for lecturers?
Yes. Lecturer accounts cost nothing, and your students do not pay either. The plan is funded by ads shown to students in the portal and on your dashboard.
Why do I need an institutional email address?
The free plan is for university lecturers, so sign-up requires your school or institutional email. Free email addresses such as Gmail, Outlook and Yahoo are not accepted.
What happens after I sign up?
You can start setting up in your dashboard straight away. KlasPoint reviews new lecturer accounts to confirm you are a lecturer, and your class website goes public once the account is approved.
Does a lecturer account include mock exams and quizzes?
Lecturer accounts include the Starter feature set: your website, student portal, lessons, materials, attendance, announcements and the WhatsApp assistant. Mock exams, quizzes and assignments are part of KlasPoint's Pro plan.
