Classes and cohorts
Run many classes without losing track of anyone.
Group students into cohorts, put as many subjects as you need inside each one, schedule sessions and special classes, and see every student's standing at a glance, with each member of your team given exactly the access their role needs.

What is classes and cohorts in KlasPoint?
In KlasPoint, a cohort (or class group) is a set of students who enrol and pay together, such as "JAMB Science Evening" or "100L Engineering". Each cohort can contain several classes, and its payment plans, sessions, content and roster are all organised around it.
Cohorts, classes, rosters, staff roles and reports are on every plan. Special classes and events are part of Pro.
The problem
Growth is where spreadsheets break.
- Each new class means another group chat, another register and another list of who has paid.
- It is hard to see one student's full picture across the classes they take.
- Staff either see too much, such as the centre's revenue, or cannot do their job without asking.
How KlasPoint solves it
One structure for students, content and money.
Cohorts give the rest of KlasPoint the same backbone. Students join a cohort, pay for it once and unlock the classes inside it. Sessions, materials, exams and reports all follow that structure, so adding a class does not add another layer of admin.
Cohorts with many classes
A student pays for a class group once and gets access to every subject inside it.
Student roster
Search and filter students by class and payment standing: paid up, owing, or never paid.
Session scheduling
Schedule class sessions with topics, then open check-in when they start.
Special classes and events
Run marathons, revision sessions and one-off classes that students register for.
Staff roles
Invite teachers and admins. Teachers get teaching tools without seeing fees; admins run the centre but cannot change your payout account.
Reports and exports
Enrolments, outstanding fees, attendance, results, points and events, filterable by class and period, with CSV export.

FAQ
Questions about classes and cohorts
More answers in the KlasPoint FAQ.
What is the difference between a cohort and a class?
A cohort is the group students enrol in and pay for. Classes are the subjects inside it. A "JAMB Science" cohort, for example, might contain Physics, Chemistry and Biology classes.
Can a student be in more than one cohort?
Yes. A student can enrol in several cohorts at the same centre, each with its own payment.
What can a teacher on my team see?
Teachers can work with classes, coursework, students and attendance, but cannot see fees, revenue, payout details or centre settings.
Can I export my student list?
Yes. The enrolments and outstanding fees reports can both be exported to CSV.
